At FunChem, we are committed to processing and shipping your orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. This Shipping Policy explains our order processing times, shipping methods, estimated delivery times, shipping charges, customs responsibilities, and other important shipping information.
Please note that all processing and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Order Processing
Orders are processed during our normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Estimated processing times are as follows:

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next business day.
Certain laboratory equipment, oversized products, hazardous-compatible accessories, custom-built systems, or products requiring additional quality inspection may require extended processing times. Where applicable, these requirements will be indicated on the product page or communicated after your order has been placed.

FunChem reserves the right to modify available shipping destinations without prior notice due to export controls, carrier restrictions, sanctions, or other legal requirements.
Multiple Shipments
To improve delivery efficiency and product availability, items within the same order may be shipped separately from different warehouses or fulfillment locations.
You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments.
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times begin after order processing has been completed.
Delivery estimates do not include delays caused by:
- Customs inspections
- Weather conditions
- Transportation disruptions
- Carrier delays
- Public holidays
- Government actions
- Force majeure events
All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Delays Beyond Our Control
While FunChem works closely with our shipping partners to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- Customs inspections or clearance delays
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Transportation disruptions
- Carrier delays
- Labor disputes or strikes
- Public holidays
- Government actions or regulatory inspections
- Supply chain disruptions
- Force majeure events
Where appropriate, FunChem will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in tracking shipments and communicating with shipping carriers. However, estimated delivery dates are provided for reference only and cannot be guaranteed.
Delayed Delivery Compensation
For eligible laboratory glassware orders, FunChem offers the following delayed delivery compensation:

This compensation program applies exclusively to eligible laboratory glassware products.
Store credit:
- May be used toward any future purchase
- Is non-transferable
- Cannot be redeemed for cash
- Will be issued after delivery has been confirmed
Claims for delayed delivery must be submitted within 30 days after delivery.
Customs Duties & Import Taxes
Prices displayed on the Website do not include:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- VAT
- GST
- Brokerage fees
- Other governmental charges
Where applicable, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected by the carrier or local customs authority before delivery.
Import Compliance
For international shipments, customers acknowledge that:
- Products may not satisfy local standards, certifications, voltage requirements, or labeling regulations.
- Customers are responsible for determining whether products may be legally imported into the destination country.
- Customers act as the Importer of Record, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable import laws, customs regulations, and governmental requirements.
FunChem reserves the right to refuse or cancel shipments that may violate applicable export control laws, sanctions, or other legal restrictions.
Shipping Restrictions
FunChem reserves the right to:
- Restrict shipments to certain countries or territories
- Refuse shipments prohibited by applicable law
- Require additional documentation before shipment
- Cancel orders where export or import compliance cannot be satisfied
Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.
Please carefully review your shipping address before submitting your order.
Requests to change the shipping address after an order has been placed may not be possible once order processing has begun.
If you need to update your shipping information, please contact FunChem immediately at support@funchem.store.
Additional shipping charges may apply if rerouting, address correction, reshipment, or carrier intervention is required.
FunChem is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs resulting from:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
- Refused deliveries
- Failed delivery attempts
- Unclaimed packages
- Customer-requested address changes after shipment
Address Verification
FunChem reserves the right to verify shipping addresses before dispatching an order.
If we are unable to verify the shipping information provided, or if additional information is required to complete delivery, we may contact the customer for confirmation. Order processing may be delayed until the requested information has been received.
FunChem reserves the right to cancel an order and issue a refund if accurate shipping information cannot be obtained within a reasonable period.
Undeliverable or Refused Shipments
If a shipment is returned to FunChem because it was refused by the recipient, deemed undeliverable, abandoned, or could not be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for any resulting costs, including but not limited to:
- Return shipping charges
- Carrier handling fees
- Storage fees
- Customs duties and taxes
- Brokerage fees
- Reshipping costs
If a refund is approved for an undeliverable or refused shipment, FunChem may deduct any applicable shipping charges, return shipping costs, customs charges, restocking fees, or other expenses incurred before issuing the refund, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If a shipment cannot be returned to FunChem due to local regulations, carrier policies, customs requirements, or other circumstances beyond our control, no refund may be available.
Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information, where available.
Tracking information is provided by the shipping carrier and may take up to 24–48 hours to become available after shipment.
